| Details: | 'WE' Day is Free the Children's annual youth empowerment event. On November 19, a number of Grade 8 students will be attending the Me to We Conference (https://www.we.org/our-work/we-day/we-day-events/we-day-vancouver) at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Our students (along with approx. 16,000 other Middle and Senior School people) will gather for the day to be energized, informed and inspired! Students will leave SMUS by school bus at approximately 3:45pm on November 18 for the 5:00pm ferry to Vancouver and stay overnight. Students are expected back at SMUS at approximately 7:00pm on November 19. Students will need to provide their own meal money for dinner on November 18 and will need additional funds for breakfast on November 19, snacks, lunch at the conference, and dinner on the ferry. |
