Details: Middle School parents are encouraged to come out and get tips for keeping kids interested in reading. University of Victoria professor and budding young adult literature author Jocelyn Dimm will recommend books that kids enjoy as well as how to get kids excited about literature.

About Jocelyn:
For the last 13 years, Jocelyn has taught Young Adult Literature and Drama Education in the Faculty of Education at UVic. Her PhD research includes an inquiry into how young adults shape a sense of self while dramatically engaged with characters in fiction.
