| Details: | Soccer Jamboree – grades 4-5 A World Cup Soccer Jamboree will be held at Carnarvon Park on Friday September 20th, 2019. All of our Grade 4 and 5 students will be taking part. The Grade 4 students should be delivered to school wearing their gym strip at the usual time. Their games will starting shortly after 9:30 a.m. and will finish just by 11:45 a.m. All Grade 4 students will then be returned to school for an afternoon of classes. The Grade 5 students should arrive at school wearing their school uniform. We will then change into gym strip at recess. The Grade 5 soccer games will start at 12:30 p.m. and should conclude by 2:30 p.m. – 2:40 p.m. Students can be collected from Carnarvon Park but they must check-out with an SMUS teacher. We will depart from the park at 2:40 p.m. The teams for this festival will be created by mixing gender, abilities and students from five other schools. There will be 6 players plus one goalkeeper on each team and we hope that this will allow for maximum participation. Please ensure that your child brings a water bottle, sunscreen, and warm clothing.
