| Details: | 'WE' Day is Free the Children's annual youth empowerment event. On November 22, 24 Grade 8 students will be attending the Me to We Conference (http://www.weday.com/about) at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Our students (along with approx. 16,000 other Middle and Senior School people) will gather for the day to be energized, informed and inspired! Students will leave SMUS by school bus at approximately 3:45pm on November 21 for the 5:00pm ferry to Vancouver and stay overnight. Students are expected back at SMUS at approximately 7:20pm on November 22. Students will need to provide their own meal money for dinner on November 21 and will need additional funds for breakfast on November 22, snacks, lunch at the conference, and dinner on the ferry. |
