| Details: | This is a great entry-level Model United Nations conference, with additional, more advanced committees for experienced veterans. Students involved have already received the details of this weekend event. This activity offers a fun and educational experience of government in action. Students learn how to draft and amend resolutions, discover and articulate arguments, compromise and revise suggestions, and to work in a spirit of consensus building. This is a 3 day event organized by West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver and takes place at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We leave Friday early morning, returning to SMUS the evening of Sunday, October 28. |
